My Journey
First Steps into Drawing
The journey began with an interest in sketching realistic human faces using pencil. These early drawings were simple attempts to understand proportions, shading, and facial structure. It was the first introduction to the world of sketch art.
A Pause in the Journey
Due to limited time, lack of learning resources, and beginner-level skills, drawing slowly stopped. Sketching was put on hold while other priorities took over.
Discovering Anime Sketch Art
After several years, the passion for drawing returned with a new direction: anime sketches and manga-style art. One of the first anime drawings was created during a college class to pass time. It was a sketch of Eren Yeager in his ODM gear suit from a backside pose, and surprisingly, it turned out better than expected.
A Turning Point
Later that year, a detailed anime girl pencil sketch was drawn that took an entire night to complete. At the time, it felt like a big improvement and became a motivating moment to continue practicing anime character drawing.
A Temporary Break
During the final year of college, academic pressure and placement preparation reduced the time available for drawing. Sketching once again had to be paused.
Returning to the Sketchbook
After some time, drawing started again with renewed interest. More focus was placed on improving anime pencil sketches, character expressions, and detailed line work.
Launch of Will Of Pen
In 2026, Will Of Pen was created as a dedicated platform to share anime sketches and artwork. Instagram and YouTube accounts were launched to share drawing reels, shorts, and sketch edits. Soon after, this website was built as a gallery to showcase anime drawings, pencil sketches, and original anime artwork in one place.
